The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey announced the neutralization of 11 terrorists of the RSC in the areas of Hakurk and Metina in the north of Iraq.
The Turkish department emphasized that the fight against terrorism will continue.
“Turkish armed forces neutralized 10 RSC terrorists found in the Khakakk area in the north of Iraq, and one RSC terrorist found in the Metin region,” the Turkish defense department said.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan previously stated that since 1984, when the militants of the RSC for the first time carried out a terrorist attack in Turkey, thousands of employees of Turkish security forces, military and civilians died at the hands of this bloody organization.
The United States and the European Union introduced RKK to the lists of terrorist organizations.
In recent years, the RSC seeks to shift responsibility for bloody crimes in the region to its branches.
In Syria, the RKK terrorists are covered by the names Pyd and YPG, and in the last two years they call themselves “Syrian democratic forces.”
In Iran, RSC acts as “Party of Free Life of Kurdistan” (pjak).
