1179 Illegal Migrants Were Detained In USA Per Day

in the framework of the “Deportation of illegal migrants” held in the United States in order to increase the security of borders, 1179 illegal migrants were detained in only one day. This was announced by the US immigration and customs service (ICE) on the social network x.

According to the report, ICE employees detained 1179 people, which became a record number of detentions of illegal migrants since the assumption of US President Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, the American Channel NBC News said that only 613 out of 1179 detainees “committed serious crimes”, while the rest did not commit any crimes except the “illegal” crossing of the US borders.

After his inauguration on January 20, Donald Trump said that the provision of automatic citizenship for children of immigrants, born in the States, will be canceled. He noted that the 14th amendment to the Constitution, which provides this right, should be rethought.

During his inauguration, Trump promised to put an end to the stream of illegal migrants on the border by introducing tough measures. The head of the White House also announced the cancellation of an application called “CBP One”, which allowed legal migration to the country.

In addition, President Trump signed a new decree on the strengthening of security measures on the US border and Mexico, and also decided to send an additional 1,500 military to the border.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Administration granted broad powers to several federal agencies, including the Drug Control Department (DEA), the Bureau for Control of Alcohol, Tobacco, Fires and Explosives (ATFs) and the Federal Law Enforcement Agency consisting of the Ministry of Justice (USMS) to activate efforts to deport migrants.
