13 People Died As Result Of Collapse Of Roof Of An Entertainment Institution In Dominican Republic

13 people died and more than 70 were injured as a result of the collapse of the roof of an entertainment institution in the Caribbean country, Dominican Republic.

The roof of an entertainment institution called “Jet Set” in the capital of the country Santo Domingo fell when visitors were inside the institution.

According to the first data, 13 people or more than 70 were injured as a result of the collapse of the roof.

Having stated that it was still unknown why the roof collapsed, the officials noted that the singer Rubby Perez, who performed during the incident, also received injuries.

President of the Dominican Republic Luis Abinoder, in his message on the social network X, said that the search and rescue teams “work hard” to get to those who were under the rubble.

Abinoder in his publication noted: “We are deeply saddened by the tragedy in the Jet Set night club. We followed the incident a minute in a minute since its occurrence.”
