At the coast of the Turkish province of Izmir, 133 were saved and 73 illegal migrants were detained.
According to the Command of the Turkish coast guard, after receiving information about the presence of rubber boats with illegal migrants on board the coast of the Ural, Seferchisar and Czech, rescue teams were sent to these regions.
Employees of the coast guard saved 83 illegal migrants, 15 of which are minors. Migrants were on board three rubber boats exposed by the Greek side into Turkish territorial waters.
Rubber boats with illegal migrants on board were also drifted due to the failure of the engine off the coast of Dikili and Czech. A group of rescuers was sent to these areas after the information received. The coast guard team saved another 50 illegal migrants, 20 of which are children.
In addition, a group of illegal migrants was found on boats off the coast of Urla and Dikili.
Coast guard officers detained 73 illegal migrants, 33 of which are minors.
After passing the relevant procedures, illegal migrants were delivered to the regional department for migration matters.
