Moldovan-Turkish College in the city of Komrat in Moldova can start working in 2025, Moldipres reports.
The organization and work of the future of the Moldovan-Turkish college will regulate the appropriate protocol between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Turkish Republic. The Cabinet of Ministers of Moldova approved the day before the beginning of negotiations on the protocol.
“The development of vocational education is the priority of the Ministry of Education and a good alternative for young people who want to develop professional skills immediately after graduation of the 9th grade,” said the Minister of Education of Moldova Dan Percun.
In this regard, Moldova appreciates the investment of the Turkish state through the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination Tİka, which built the building of the new college in Komrat, said the head of the department.
The future college will become a state institution and work in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.
The educational institution will be taught by such specialties as: information technologies, electrical and electronic technologies. The language of training will be Romanian, and some subjects will be studied in Turkish or English. The college will also be a hostel, which will allow students from other regions.
