In the Black Sea, 218 vessels with Ukrainian grain participating in the “Grain initiative” were blocked. This was reported by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
According to the report, out of 218 ships, 95 have already left Ukrainian ports and expect an inspection for sending, 101 awaits inspection for input, 22 loaded vessels are waiting for exit from Ukrainian ports.
The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine claims that the actual blockade of the “grain corridor” Russia began back in September, when it artificially delayed the inspection and reduced their number. As a result of this, in the Black Sea there was a queue of 176 ships, in total loaded 2.1 million tons of agricultural products.
On October 29, Russia indefinitely suspended participation in the agreement on unlocking Ukrainian ports with grain. Following this, Ukraine has forced to suspend grain export.
