27 People Became Victims Of Floods And Landslides In Niger

at least 27 people died as a result of floods and a landslide gathering caused by spillful rains continuing in Niger since June.

The Main Directorate of Civil Defense reported that 10,655 people were injured in general from the heavy rains in June.

Invasive rains caused the flood and gathering of landslides, 27 people became victims, another 23 people were injured.

The rain season in Niger begins in June and ends in September. Last year, 41 people died due to heavy rains and 53 people were injured. In total, natural disaster negatively influenced the lives of 137,797 people.
