Kazakhstan returned almost 300 thousand hectares of land, the owners of which were subsidiaries of Bolat Nazarbayev – the younger brother of the first president of Kazakhstan Nkrsultan Nazarbayev. This was stated by the chairman of the Republican Public Council for the development of public administration and counteracting corruption at the ruling party of Amanat, Yerlan Sairov, reports Tengrinews.kz.
He specified that 239 thousand hectares of confiscated lands were located in the Mangistau region and another 60 thousand hectares in Zhambyl.
Earlier, when cooperation with the Prosecutor General’s Office, 59 plots of 244 hectares were revealed, the owner of which “under dubious circumstances was the Bolat Nazarbayev,” said the press service of the Amanat party.
Bolat Nazarbayev since 1997 is the director of the holding BN Invest.
