Nigeria Air Force (NAF) neutralized 40 terrorists during the air operation against the Boko Haram terrorist organization in Borno in the northeast of the country.
In a written statement, NAF press secretary Edward Gabkvet said that on August 16 the army conducted an air operation against Boko Haram in the Arina area in Borno.
spokesman Gabkvet noted that 40 terrorists were killed during the operation, including 5 leaders of the organization.
According to him, that during the investigations conducted in the region after attacks, it was found that a large number of equipment and medications were destroyed.
On the other hand, the troops of the united multinational operational group announced that material and technical materials prepared for use by terrorists were intercepted in the Mongun in the Mongun area.
