In Somalia, during operations conducted by security forces against the Ash Shabab terrorist organization, 48 members of the terrorist organization were neutralized.
According to national media reports, the National Security and Intelligence Organization Somali announced large-scale operations against Ash Shabab in the Central Shebelle and Hiyran regions.
The statement notes that during three operations 48 members of the organization were neutralized, including persons from senior management.
