79 Azerbaijani judo trainers will take part in international training camps

from February 6 to February 18, the final fees will be held in Baku within the framework of the program of the coaching certificate of the Academy of the International Federation of Judo (IJF) that launched in March 2022. In the event organized by the National Olympic Committee and the Judo Azerbaijan Federation (ACF), 79 judo coaches will be prompted.

The program implemented with the financial support of the Olympic Solidarity of the International Olympic Committee and Technical Support for the International Judo Federation, due to the number of participants will consist of two parts.

The seminar and the exam will be conducted by the director of the IJF Academy Envik Galea, the program director of the Tibor Kozl, the sports director of the Academy Daniel Laskau and other experts (only 10 experts).

After the improvement of knowledge on judo techniques and techniques, the coaches will pass an exam in practice.

According to the rules of the IJF Academy, the final seminars and exams are usually held in predetermined foreign countries. However, taking into account a large number of participants from Azerbaijan, for the first time it was decided to organize the final seminar and the exam in our country and only for trainers representing Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that as a result of cooperation of the ACF with the Academy, which began in March 2022, more than 80 coaches were involved in this program. 79 coaches who successfully passed exams on theory were able to pass the full -time exam and get the corresponding certificate. The fee for the participation of coaches in the certification program was taken by ACF.

Given the need of Azerbaijan for the education of international coaches, the NOC has regularly supported such courses since 2016. For such courses organized with the financial support of the Olympic Solidarity Foundation, the Expert-speaker is appointed only by the corresponding International Sports Federation.
