In the Baku Court of Crime, the trial in the criminal case of the former head physician of the regional rehabilitation center of the city of Shirvan 52-year-old Kenul Abbasova, accused of large-scale fraud, was completed.
haqqin.az reports that this is the second criminal case in the life of Abbasova. The first was excited in December 2020. Initially, a woman was judged in the Lenkoran court on serious crimes.
The investigation established that the victim of the fraudster was Rafiga Seidova, who wanted to arrange his son and son -in -law for work. The woman gave Abbasova astronomical by Azerbaijani standards the amount of money – 255 thousand manat.
The defendant pleaded guilty only partially. In court, she stated that she was not going to deceive Seidova and that their common acquaintance, a certain Samir Hoseingul, was to blame for everything.
The injured Rafiga Seidova, in turn, said that Abbasova paid in parts. First, the fraudster received 25 thousand manat in parts, promising to find the work of a lawyer for a young man at the Food Safety Agency. Later, Abbasova announced that the case was delayed, and offered for the son of Seida the position of an investigator in the Ministry of Internal Affairs – for 100 thousand manat. For the same amount, Abbasov “agreed” to make the son -in -law of her victim, Rashad, the head of the district telephone station. Later, the son of Seiova revealed a criminal record – her “repayment” had to fork out another 30 thousand manat.
Further it turned out that Abbasova got only 113 thousand manat from Seidova’s money. The rest was picked by the aforementioned Samir Huseingyul (he is judged separately with the accomplice named Safar). The victim was aware of the case and promised to “take” for Hoseingules as soon as she receives money from Abbasova.
Samira Abbasov was sentenced to 9 and a half years in prison, taking into account both convictions.
