A billionaire oligarch cannot live on £ 2.500 per month

The National Criminal Agency of Great Britain said that Peter Aven, close to Vladimir Putin, Russian oligarch-millionaire, violated the sanctions imposed on him, having bought, and then selling several luxurious cars.

The agency launched the investigation and blocked two bank accounts that the billionaire used for these purposes. It is reported that on the indicated accounts Avena had only one and a half million pounds.

As the agency established, Aven translated 200 thousand pounds to the dealer selling luxury models of cars, and also sold his “Bentley” through him for 160 thousand pounds entered one of the billionaire’s accounts.

As you know, Peter Aven is listed in the list of Russian oligarchs, which are under the sanctions of Great Britain and the European Union, caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Brussels claim that Aven is a major shareholder of the Russian Alfa Bank and is one of the 50 richest people in Russia.

If the National Criminal Agency cannot get convincing explanations about the “suspicious expenses” made by the oligarch in his two bank accounts, these funds will be confiscated, and Aven himself threatens criminal liability for evasion of sanctions.

Recall that in May of this year, British law enforcement officers searched Avena London, during which he seized £ 30,000.

It was reported that about thirty British law enforcement officers participated in a search caused by violations of the conditions of sanctions.

The Russian billionaire is officially allowed to spend no more than two from 2.500 pounds per month (5,000 Azerbaijani manat).

Apparently, Peter Aven does not manage to meet this framework.
