According to Haqqin.az’s own correspondent, a preliminary investigation in the case ended, and the materials of the criminal case were sent to the Baku court for serious crimes. The case is at the disposal of the judge Ahmed Guliev.
The murder occurred in December 2019 on the territory of the village of Bakikhanov in the Sabunchinsky district. Murad Niftizade, who lives in the village, killed his 54-year-old mother Fatma Gamzaev and 28-year-old Elgun Niftizade.
After the murder, Murad Niftizade escaped to Russia. The man was put on the international wanted list. He was detained and extradited to Azerbaijan in March this year.
