Police detained a native of the North Caucasus suspected of an attack with a knife on four men in the center of St. Petersburg, the press service of the GUMBD in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region reports RIA Novosti.
“Police detained a native of the North Caucasus, who attacked with a knife on four men in the center of St. Petersburg,” said in the message.
According to the press service, the fight occurred at night on May 28 at Dmitrov Lane. Four drunk men with knife wounds were hospitalized from the incident.
A criminal case was initiated on the signs of a crime provided for in paragraph 3.111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional causing serious harm to health).
On suspicion of attacking in accordance with Article 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, a 27-year-old resident of the North Caucasus was detained.
