An-12 plane crashed under Irkutsk, the place of its wreck was found, the Siberian Aviation Rescue Center reported, reports TASS.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there were eight people on board.
Earlier in emergency services reported that the board running Yakutsk – Irkutsk disappeared from radar screens over the Irkutsk region.
“Over the Irkutsk region disappeared with radars an aircraft An-12 flight Yakutsk – Irkutsk,” said the agency’s source. According to him, the board belongs to the Belarusian airline “Grodno.” The plane performed a cargo flight.
