Detained a resident of Baku, who deceived money from citizens under the pretext of renting an apartment, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
detainee, Bayram Mammadov born in 1993, posted on sites for the sale of real estate announcements about renting an apartment, asked to transfer a deposit to a card, and then disappeared. During preliminary interrogation, Mamedov admitted that every day he deceived three people in this way, mostly students.
The investigation continues.
“We do not recommend citizens to transfer money to strangers to strangers on rental announcements or other real estate,” the ministry said in a statement.
