“We are very pleased that the relationship between Iran and Azerbaijan is developing.” This was said to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahian, who arrived on Wednesday, December 22, on an official visit to Baku.
Iranian Foreign Minister noted that during his visit he is planned several meetings with officials of Azerbaijan at a high level.
“We have ideas for the development of cooperation, and they will be discussed at a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev,” said the Minister Abdollahian.
He also recalled that over the past three months he spoke several times with the head of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Jayhun Bayramov.
“Soon, economic, trade and cultural relations between Iran and Azerbaijan will develop even more,” the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry stressed.
Note that this is the first visit of Abdollahian in Baku since its appointment by Iranian foreign affairs by the Minister.
