About 2 Thousand Were Evacuated In Chile

About 2 thousand people are evacuated from the Aracania region in the central part of Chile due to ongoing forest fires. This was reported by local media with reference to the National Service for the Prevention of Natural Disaster and Response to them (Senapred).

In particular, due to a forest fire in the city of Trigen, 2000 people were evacuated, fire had already turned 1190 hectares into ashes.

It is reported that all educational institutions in the city of Traigen are closed, a large number of rescue teams are involved in the fire.

“There is a complex process in Traigen. Strong gusts of wind greatly complicate the fight against fire. We see that the fire spreads very quickly,” the head of the Aracania region Patricio Amparan said in a statement.
