Following the meeting of the Council of the CIS Government, a number of important documents aimed at the further development of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth. This was reported by “Kabar” with reference to the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov.
According to him, among them the most significant is the signing of the agreement “On the free trade in services, the establishment, activity and the implementation of investments”.
“Work on his project was conducted about ten years in conjunction with the Executive Committee and the participating states. We express the confidence that the agreement will contribute to the sustainable development of the free trade zone of services and goods, as well as the creation of favorable conditions for the further growth of the economy of states – Participants of the Commonwealth. Positive dynamics in the trade and economic sphere indicates the potential for the further progress of the Commonwealth and the possibilities of economic modernization, ”he said.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers also noted that another equally important agreement signed today is the Agreement “On the interaction of the CIS member states in the exchange of monitoring of the radiation situation”.
“The agreement was developed in order to effective solving the problems of management in the field of civil defense, the protection of the population and territories from emergency situations, timely informing the population about the state of radiation security,” Akylbek Zhaparov explained.
In conclusion, he emphasized that a number of decisions were also made in the field of industrial cooperation, the cultural and humanitarian industry, as well as in terms of financial and personnel issues. In addition, the provision on the Spartakiad of the CIS countries among children with disabilities is approved.
