The Russian economy in the first half of 2023, according to the Ministry of Economic Development, increased by 1.4% compared with January-Jun 2022.
In the second quarter of 2023, GDP grew by 4.6% in annual terms after a decrease by 1.8% in the first quarter.
In June, GDP, according to the ministry, grew by 5.3% in an annual comparison after an increase in May by 5.4%, in April by 3.4%, decreased by 0.7% in March, decline by 2.6% in February and 2.7% in January.
with the exception of the seasonal factor, according to the ministry, GDP in June grew only 0.04% after growth by 1.4% in May.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, GDP according to the results of the first half of 2023 increased by 1.4%.
