Activist said Pashinyan “Turkom” and earned a criminal case

Against civil activist and former member of the Council of Elders Yerevan Sona Agekyan initiated a criminal case under Article 137.1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia “Grave Insult”. Some time ago, in his facebook, she called the Prime Minister of the country Nikola Pashinyan “Turkom” and “Screw”, IRAVUNK reports.

According to her, criminal cases against it are initiated illegally.

“in Armenia alleged democracy, but criminal cases are initiated as in dictatorship countries. The parliament has adopted an illegitimate law, which provides for criminal liability for insult. Meanwhile, in the early 2000s, one of the conditions for integration into Europe was the decriminalization of this article” , – Agekyan said.

It is also outraged by the lack of right to express their opinion on their social networks.

“I have the right to think that the person appointed by the Prime Minister in Armenia is Turk. The prosecution is based on the fact that the reputation and dignity of this person is insulted. I adhere to my opinion about him and is ready to repeat it in court,” said activist.

She also emphasized that she filed a pet-made bet with Pashinyan to “look into his eyes and demand a genetic analysis in an independent clinic.”
