Today, a meeting of the executive committee AFFA took place.
The main decision was to appoint the Secretary General of Affa Sarkhan Hajiyev. Earlier, Elchen Mamedov was held by Elkhan Mamedov, who was also an executive vice president in January 2020 after structural changes. In connection with the deferment and further conduct of the Euro 2020, the process of appointment to the post of the Secretary General was somewhat delayed. And now, Sarkhan Hajiyev’s candidacy was put forward to this post, who was previously deputy General.
Also on the Executive Committee was approved the composition of the Foundation for Football Development. He was headed by a veteran of Azerbaijani football led Gasimov.
The Affa Executive Committee decided to highlight a pension to three football veterans – Tofik Mamedov (Ganja), Iggie Mehraliev (Agdam) and Hafizu Aliyev (Nakhchivan).
Another solution was the approval of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of AFFA.
