The Anadolu Shipyard Turkish shipbuilding shipyard signed a contract with an unnamed African country for the supply of two landing ships, the Daily Sabah newspaper shared with reference to sources.
“This time, the shipyard signed 2 more contracts for Landing Craft with the African country. The ships will be handed over for 2 years,” the message said.
Anadolu Shipyard stated that the ships they designed are in demand among the Turkish Navy and in many other countries. For example, on the eve of the shipyard transferred an order for the Katar Navy.
In total, four landing ships were delivered in the framework of the Qatari order, including one high-speed landing ship, two mechanized landing ships and one transport and far ship. Prior to this, Qatar ordered two marine patrol ships from the Turkish shipyard.
