Israeli airlines can resume regular flights to Turkey after a 15-year break, reports Cumhuriyet.
According to the publication, as part of the process of normalizing relations between the two countries, Turkey and Israel plan to conclude a new agreement on cooperation in the field of civil aviation. According to the newspaper, negotiations on this issue will be held on Monday. In particular, they provide for a discussion of issues of establishing direct flights from Israel, increasing their frequency and resolving security issues, which is insisted by the Israeli side.
According to the publication, Israeli air carriers have not been flying to Turkey since 2007. At the same time, Turkish airlines operate regular flights to Israel.
