New Zealand researchers from Victoria University in Wellington found a new remedy for a hazardous colon cancer. This is reported by Medical Express, reports “Tape.ru.”
According to the information, the main subject of study has become medicines that are currently used to treat high blood pressure: beta blockers, ACE inhibitors and angiotensin receptor blockers. Scientists analyzed the interaction of cancer tissues with these drugs, and found that these drugs make cancer cells less active.
It is noted that the research team plans to carry out additional research, and, if successful, humanity will acquire a new method for the treatment of colon cancer, which affects cancer cells using low-cost oral medications with low side effects.
