The agreement on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border is at the completion stage. This was stated by the head of the State National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev.
According to Tashiev, the draft agreement on the sector committee of the Jogorku Kenesh (Supreme Council) will be received on February 27, after which it will be sent to the presidents of the two countries.
“All the procedures after which the document will enter into force will take about a month,” Tashiev said.
February 21, the chairmen of government delegations of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan said that the commission had reached the complete consent of the division and demarcation of the Tajik-Kyrgyz border.
