The agricultural season in Kazakhstan ended with a record crop of grain, which has become the highest indicator over the past decade. This was announced by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov at the forum of small and medium-sized businesses.
According to Bektenov, thanks to improving the quality of seeds, updating the equipment park and enhanced pest fighting, it was possible to achieve an average yield of about 16 centners per hectare, and up to 40-50 centners were collected on separate fields.
“These achievements are the result of systemic state support and the efforts of farmers to improve the quality of products,” said the Prime Minister, whose words are quoted by Kazinform.
The prime minister also noted the importance of a similar approach in the development of small and medium -sized businesses.
