Freed from the post of chairman of OAO Melioration and Water Management Ahmedzade, Akhmedzade, admitted to journalists that many years could not live peacefully.
“I could not live peace since 1967. I lived with a constant feeling of fear. I want to spend the rest of life and old age in peace,” said a former official.
Recall that on April 2, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the release of Ahmed Ahmedzade from the post of head of OJSC Melioration and Water Management. Ahmed Ahmedzade was appointed to this position in 1993 and headed OAO Melioration and Water Management Azerbaijan for 28 years. Prior to the appointment in 1993, Ahmed Ahmedzade was part of the party nomenclature and headed the regional committees of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan.
