Azerbaijan Air Force conducted military shooting exercises. On Tuesday, on August 27, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported.
According to the preparation plan for the current year, exercises with combat shooting were conducted with helicopter units of the Air Force, follows from the message.
The tasks on the map were specified before the flight, the calculations of goals were carried out and the safety rules were brought to the personnel, the press service notes.
“In accordance with the plan, the helicopter units made group sorties from the airfield and fulfilled the tasks of destroying the ground targets of a conditional enemy at the training ground,” the publication said.
During the exercises conducted to improve the combat skills of helicopter crews, the tasks were successfully completed, added in the defense department of Azerbaijan.
