The number of passengers using the services of Turkish airports in January -July of this year increased by 22 percent compared to the same period of 2022 – up to 102 million 500 thousand 625 people. The growth of passenger traffic for 7 months of this year was observed at airports that carry out transportation to tourist centers in Turkey.
So, Istanbul Airport served 43.3 million passengers in January -July of this year, Antalya Airport – 18.3 million and Adnan Menderes Airport in Izmir – more than 5.8 million passengers.
In addition, the number of passengers who used the services of the Turkish harbor Adan increased by 18.88 percent – to 2 million 632 thousand 761 people, and Gaziantep – by 10.2 percent, up to 1 million 427 thousand 559.
