On June 13, Azerbaijan Prime Minister Ali Assadov met with the chairman of the National Council of Slovakia Boris Collar.
As reported in the Cabinet of Ministers, the meeting emphasized the development of Azerbaijani-Slovak relations in various directions, expressed confidence that this visit to the chairman of the National Council of Slovakia will give impetus to the deepening of bilateral cooperation.
The value of the visit of the delegation, led by Boris Collar in the city of Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, was also emphasized. In this context, it was about the restoration of the liberated territories.
It was noted that between the two countries there are opportunities for the further development of investment cooperation. In this regard, the significance of the Alate Free Economic Zone was emphasized, and it was noted that Slovak companies can take advantage of the favorable opportunities created here for foreign investors.
There were also discussions on the issue of energy security, it was noted that Azerbaijan, which has rich energy resources and infrastructure, makes an important contribution to the energy security of Europe. In this regard, the meaning of the “southern gas corridor”
was especially emphasized.
The meeting also took place of the prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries in political, trade, economic, investment, energy, humanitarian and many other areas.
