Azerbaijani and Georgian peoples throughout history lived in conditions of friendship and peace, and today our relationship rose to the level of strategic partnership.
As reports Trend, the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov said this during the meeting of the fifth of May with Georgian colleague Irakli Garibashvili.
Azerbaijani Prime Minister noted that mega-projects, jointly implemented by Azerbaijan and Georgia, contribute a great contribution to the energy security of the region and Europe. Highly estimating cooperation between the two countries within the projects “South Gas Corridor” and Tar, Ali Asadov noted that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to relationships with Georgia.
“Today, our relations are developing in political, economic, trading, cultural and many other areas. We believe that these ties will develop further. There is great potential to further expand relations for a number of areas,” Ali Asadov said.
Expressing Thanks for the warm welcome, Georgia Prime Minister Irakli Garybashvili said that it is a great honor for him to visit Azerbaijan: “We have a close relationship with Azerbaijan.
