According to the official results of the second round of the presidential election in Iran, the reformist deputy of the Technician Parliament and the former Minister of Health Masud Kayshkin elected the 9th president of the country, having received 53.7 percent of voters.
The percentage of the votes of the conservative former secretary of the National Security Council Said Jalili, who competed with Cyzeshkian, remained at the level of 44.4 percent.
