Ali Nagiyev met with representative of ICRC in Azerbaijan

Head of the State Security Service (SGB), Chairman of the State Commission for Called Affairs of Prisoners, hostages and missing citizens of Azerbaijan, Ali Nagiyev, adopted the head of the representative office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICDC) in Azerbaijan Dragan Kodzhich, the press service of the SSR.

During the conversation, Nagiyev touched on issues related to the humanitarian mission, carried out by the ICRC in the country, to clarify the fate of Azerbaijani citizens who disappeared during the Karabakh war as a result of the aggressive policy of Armenia, and the failure of the missing information about the missing. Gratification was expressed for supporting the ICRC in the issue of exhumation and identification of the remains of Azerbaijan citizens, discovered recently at the territories liberated from the occupation, and the hope was also expressed that thanks to the efforts jointly with the ICC in connection with the above circumstances that were met in Azerbaijani society With great concern, soon specific results will be achieved.

Kodzhich, in turn, noted that, as part of joint efforts, important steps were taken to solve issues on the agenda, and informed in detail about the measures undertaken by the ICRC recently.

The meeting also took place a wide exchange of views on other issues that caused the mutual interest of the parties.
