Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev discussed the situation with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in the Karabakh region, the press service of the Azerbaijani leader reports.

Aliyev noted that during the anti -terrorist measures carried out by Azerbaijan in Karabakh, the goal was only military facilities, there was no damage to the civilian population.
“The American side has been informed that the process of disarmament of the illegal Armenian armed forces and their withdrawal from the territory of Azerbaijan is currently being carried out. Aliyev emphasized that the appropriate work is currently being carried out to ensure the rights of Armenian residents living in the Karabakh region, as well as other ethnic minorities living in Azerbaijan, under the legislation of the country and international obligations.
He noted that between representatives of Azerbaijan and representatives of the Armenian residents, a dialogue on reintegration issues is being conducted, Azerbaijan sends humanitarian assistance to Armenian residents, infrastructure is restored on the territory.
