During the year, many important events have occurred. We were forced to conduct a military operation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border. As a result of this military operation, our historical cities today are already in the visual visibility zone.
This was said by President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting with a group of representatives of the intelligentsia from Western Azerbaijan.
“Today we are already on the shores of Bala Gate. Today we see Lake Geich without binoculars. Firstly, I believe that this is true. Secondly, September clashes are insured by great problems in the future. Since they raise our heads in Armenia Revanschist forces – both in power and in opposition – for us this is actually the same. Because the public consciousness in Armenia is so poisoned, Azerbaijanophobia received such a wide scope that there was actually no person left with normal thinking – I mean Political sphere. Therefore, they live with revanchist ideas.
They again hope that someone will come and will fight with us instead, and they, hiding, as always, will again carry out their insidious plans against us. In order to insure us to be insured, we must have mastered more favorable positions along the Azerbaijani -Armenian border, and we achieved this, ”the head of state noted.
