Baku highly appreciates the peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
This was said by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Sholts on April 26 in Berlin.
The Head of State recalled that the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia recently met in Germany at the invitation of Scholts.
“The next meeting will be planned in Kazakhstan. Thus, we are taking additional steps to sign a peace agreement,” said Aliyev.
According to the president, there are good opportunities for achieving peace.
The Head of State noted that on the morning of April 26, he stopped the joint Russian-Turkish monitoring center located in Azerbaijan.
“That is, there are very good opportunities to achieve peace. We are ready to cooperate with countries that want to provide us with assistance in this matter,” said Aliyev.
