Almost half of Georgian residents cannot be vaccinated from COVID

The results of a survey conducted in Georgia by the American National Democratic Institute of International Relations (NDI) showed that 42% of respondents refuse to vaccinate the coronavirus, reports TASS.

According to the organization, 42% of respondents answered negatively to the question of the desire to be hidden, 25% expressed their readiness, 29% stated that they had already been vaccinated, and 3% do not know how to do. On the question about the reason for the absence of vaccinations, 38% were answered that they did not trust the quality of the vaccine from Coronavirus, 20% stated that they would not be able to hurt because of health problems, 14% believe that without vaccination you can cope with a pandemic, 7% sure that vaccination actually pursues other goals, 6% in principle against vaccination. Another 6% is called “other reasons”, 7% do not know why they will not be brought, and 2% refused to answer. About 63% of those who have given birth or is going to be hurry, declare that they will make the third dose of vaccine, 14% are not going to receive a booster dose, 3% have already been given it, and 20% do not yet know. Meanwhile, 59% of the survey participants oppose children’s vaccination. 25% declare that they will bring their children, 1% has already vaccinated adolescents, and 15% – do not know whether to vaccinate them or not.

NDI conducted a survey from 7 to 13 December 2021. More than 2 thousand people took part in it. The error is 1.3%.
