Azerbaijan’s ambassador to France Leila Abdullaeva held a press conference for foreign journalists at the cultural center of the embassy.
Leila Abdullaeva brought to the attention of media representatives that Azerbaijan has always strove for the world and for 30 years tried to solve the problem of the occupation of his lands through negotiations, while Armenia took a non -constructive position. The Minsk group, created to resolve the conflict, has not achieved any progress in 30 years.
The ambassador said that in 2020, after the next provocation of Armenia, Azerbaijan was forced to free its territories military means.
Abdullaeva pointed out that Azerbaijan was interested in establishing peace in the region and, continuing his efforts in this direction, sent Armenia a proposal of five points to sign a peace treaty, but Armenia continues to occupy an non -constructive position and cannot reconcile with the victory of Azerbaijan, she noted .
Having informed about the situation around the Lachin road, the ambassador said that the corridor was open. L. Abdullaeva noted that although the corridor was intended for humanitarian purposes, Armenia was transported mines, weapons and military through this corridor to the territory of Azerbaijan.
L. Abdullaeva said that the Lachin Corridor is under the control of Russian peacekeepers and Azerbaijan could not allow Armenian soldiers, weapons and mines to transfer to their territories.
