Ambassador Antonov told United States a war participant in Ukraine

The Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov commented on Washington’s decision to allocate a new military aid package to Kyiv. He said that Russia perceives this “as a direct threat” to its strategic interests, and called on Washington to “stop provocative actions”, which, according to the ambassador, can “lead to the most serious consequences.”

Antonov believes that the supply of Ukraine’s weapons and its allies “entails the delay of bloodshed”, and also enhance the danger of a direct military clash of Russia and Western countries. “The decision of the administration (USA) to continue pumping the Kyiv regime with heavy weapons is fixed by Washington in the status of a participant in the conflict,” the Ambassador of the Rosia media quotes.

On October 1, US President Joe Biden approved $ 12.4 billion additional assistance to Ukraine. Yesterday, October 3, Biden also announced the allocation of the next military assistance package for $ 625 million to Ukraine. It will include four HIMARS MLRS, as well as ammunition and armored vehicles.
