Ambassador of Russia in the UK Andrei Kelin did not rule out a complete break of diplomatic relations between the two countries, RIA Novosti reports.
“Such an opportunity is always preserved, but we are not in a state of war, and the breaking of diplomatic relations will mean that not only we, but also the Embassy of Britain in Moscow will be forced to leave (Russia – ed.),” said Kelin on the air TV channel “Russia 24”.
Diplomat stressed that now the embassy works in the same mode, the consular reception continues.
He also stated that all his public speeches are canceled in London: “Yesterday I had to perform in parliament, it was canceled. On Friday, it was necessary to perform at school of economics in London, this was also canceled.”
