Azerbaijani Emergency Minister Colonel-General Kiaäleddine Heydarov met today with the Ambassador of Turkey in Azerbaijan Jahit Bagchi. According to HAQQIN.AZ in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, KiaMaleddine Heydarov warmly welcomed the Turkish ambassador, noted the presence of fraternal and friendly relations between the two countries.
The Minister stressed that the fraternal relationship between President of Azerbaijan and Turkey – Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan raised bilateral relations to an even higher level.
Expressing appreciation for the meeting, Ambassador Jahit Bagchi noted the multifaceted activities of the leaders of the two countries to further expand fraternal and friendly relations at a high level between Azerbaijan and Turkey. The ambassador thanked the government of Azerbaijan for the assistance rendered on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev in extinguishing strong forest fires in Turkey in July-August of this year.
Heidar’s Minister, in turn, thanked the Ambassador of Turkey for attention and appreciation and said that all necessary measures were taken to successfully fulfill the instructions, the data by President Ilham Aliyev, the Ministry of Emergency Situations to provide the necessary assistance in extinguishing forest fires in Turkey. He recalled the orders signed by the President of Azerbaijan on awarding the Emergencies Ministry employees who participated and distinguished themselves during the extinguishing of forest fires.
At the meeting, other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
