On the eve of his departure on the Middle Eastern tour, the US President exchanged FoxNews with the desire of the Democrats so that Joe Biden went for a second term.
“Mr. President, what would you say to the democrats who do not want you to run again?” asked the journalist.
“They want,” the president objected. “Look at the polls.”
The journalist insisted, saying that two-thirds of the Democrats would not want to vote for Biden according to the New York Times survey. “Jack, look at polls, you guys are incorrigible. 92% would vote for me if I took part in the campaign.”
And that dispersed. Who was right? Oddly enough, both, but the journalist to the right.
The fact is that the fresh survey of New York Times recorded that 64% of the Democrats really do not want Biden to be advanced for a new term. And only in a situation, if Donald Trump will resist the final of the 2024 presidential campaign, then 92% of the Democrats will support their president.
Now only 33% of Americans positively evaluate the activities of the head of the White House, and only 13% believe that the United States is moving in the right direction, among the democrats of such 27%. You can talk as much as you like about what aspects of Joe Bayden’s politicians are not very assessed by American citizens and why. But the main reason, what a sin to hide is that the head of the country is not perceived as the one with whom future hopes associated. Someone will call this approach to Aijism, prejudice to the abilities of middle-aged people, but in 2020 the Americans took a chance and chose the oldest in the history of the country’s country. And already along the way it turned out that they did not really like this choice.
No, this does not mean that America is now sorry that Trump has not chosen. In a theoretical confrontation, Biden would have won again: 44% versus 41%, as the same survey showed. But people want someone younger at the head of the United States. Biden’s venerable age, who is now 79 years old, is most often called as a reason why another leader is needed. Among the democrats under the age of thirty, 94% of respondents think so.
The only racial and ethnic group where Bayden supports the majority is dark -skinned voters – 62%. The president’s extremely low support among white poorly workers is 20%. During the presidential campaign, they are known to the vast majority supported Trump.
