The Russian authorities are preparing to continue hidden mobilization even during an autumn call, the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports.
Experts believe that this will create an additional load on the already overloaded Russian apparatus of the formation of the military reserve.
On the eve of the Russian telegram channels discussed the signs that the Kremlin was preparing for the second wave of mobilization. In particular, they distributed an image of the agenda obtained by a Petersburger on the network, who was ordered to appear on mobilization in January 2023 contrary to the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the end of partial mobilization on October 31, ISW writes. It is obvious that the Russian authorities did not completely stop mobilization measures, this means that a certain number of mobilized are still undergoing training simultaneously with conscripts.
ISW experts believe that this will probably lead to an even lower quality of preparation of both mobilized and conscripts. The next wave of mobilization in the coming months will only worsen the situation and, probably, the general quality of the Russian troops that will be transferred to the front line in Ukraine.
