Russian troops conducted a limited offensive operation in the north of the Kharkov region in an attempt to conquer the lost positions. This is stated in the daily review of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Experts believe that Russians have intentions to seize territories in this region, despite large -scale losses during recent Ukrainian counter -offices.
Given the currently worsening abilities of Russians for offensive actions, it is extremely unlikely that the Russian troops in this region will be able to achieve any success, ISW analysts say.
