US Army General Christopher Kavoli was appointed new commander -in -chief of NATO in Europe, replacing Tod Walters in this post, TASS.
“The North Atlantic Council approved the candidacy of the US Army, Christopher Kavoli, for the post of Supreme Commander -in -Chief of the Allied forces in Europe. General Kavoli currently holds the post of commander of the US Army in Europe and Africa,” the NATO statement said.
Kavoli will begin his appointment as a successor to General Tod Walters at the command of the command of command in Mons in the summer.
