The US citizen, accused of dog battles and abuse of animals, was sentenced to 475 years in prison.
According to NBC News, the verdict of 57-year-old Vincent Lemark Barrell, who was found guilty of cruelty with numerous animals, including 107 dogs seized from his possessions in the American state of Georgia in November 2022, and in conducting dog battles.
Barrell, found guilty of cruelty with 107 dogs, which were tied to logs in short chains, did not dive and did not have a shelter “to strengthen aggression” and participate in dog battles, sentenced to 475 years in prison.
This sentence is a “longest” imprisonment of crimes related to dog battles. Barrell denies the charges against him.
Dogs seized from Barrell’s possessions are currently in the center of salvation of animals.
