An exhibition of Turkish export products has opened in Libya

In the city of Benghazi in the east of Libya, an exhibition of Turkish export products was opened.

38 Turkish companies demonstrate their products at the exhibition. It also contains 65 entrepreneurs from Turkey. This was announced by the organizer of the exhibition Mesut Akpynar.

The opening ceremony was attended by Turkish Ambassador to Tripoli Kenan Yilmaz, mayor Bengstis Sakr Buchevari and other officials of Libya.

In the introductory speech, Kenan Yilmaz called the organization of the fair an important step on the path to reaching the Turkish positions they deserved in the economy of the eastern part of Libya, as well as the restoration of trade ties between the two countries.

“The active participation of our companies and business people in the fair is a sign of the trust of Turkish investors to the Libyan economy and the meaning that Turkey gives the development of Libya without distinguishing between its regions,” the ambassador noted with Anadola (aa ).

The diplomat expressed gratitude to the administration of the eastern region of Libya for the exhibition.

He noted that the general historical bonds between Turkey and Libya have more than five centuries. “Through cooperation in various fields, primarily in the economy, we want to use our overall potential arising from these connections. I sincerely believe that this exhibition will be a turning point in the revival of our private sector in the eastern region of Libya and will make a new measurement in development of the region, ”said Yilmaz.
