Two people were killed and five were injured as a result of an explosion at an oil refinery in the East Iranian province of Rezavi Khorasan.
This is the official Iranian news agency IRNA by the deputy governor of the province of Rezav Khorasan Muhammad Zehdi.
“At the oil refinery in the Serarai area of this province, an explosion occurred due to gas leakage. As a result of this explosion, unfortunately, 2 employees of the Serahs Hangiran factory were killed, 5 victims were hospitalized, their condition is satisfactory,” said the Iranian official.
The Serakhs district of Cut Khorasan is located in the east of the country on the border with Turkmenistan.
